Swiss Raid Commando

The Swiss Raid Commando (SRC), taking place every other year, is a difficult event in which 160 teams compete. The SRC tests military skills in conditions that are as close as possible to real-life engagement.

It’s a difficult competition which involves teams from various branches and countries. By competing against other participants, commando teams can test their skills, strengths and weaknesses. The SRC requires, as in real operations, strong mental, physical, technical and tactical skills, over a continuous period of three days. Participants confront opposing forces, the terrain and most certainly themselves. The event is staged to give equal opportunity amongst the commando patrols, therefore guaranteeing the winners are truly the ones who were the most efficient in technical performances, tactical skills, agility, dexterity, stamina, speed and intelligence.
