Wenger Commemorates 49th Running of Rallye Des Alpes with New Alpine Swiss Rallye Watch


ORANGEBURG, New York — July 2005 — To honor the running of the 49th Rallye des Alpes, Wenger, the maker of the Genuine Swiss Army Knife, will introduce the new Limited Edition Alpine Swiss Rallye.

This latest incarnation of Wenger's Alpine Swiss Rallye watch features a custom blue dial, blue leather strap reminiscent of classic driving gloves and the Official Rallye des Alpes logo on the dial and case back.

One of the most famous auto rallies in all of Europe, the Rallye des Alpes and it's 100+ vintage autos will wind it's way throughout the countryside of Switzerland, home of Wenger for over 100 years. And this year, Wenger will again be the official timekeeper of the race. All teams competing in the Rallye Des Alpes will receive two Limited Edition Alpine Swiss Rallye watches. With stops in Zermatt, St. Moritz, Italy and Austria, the Rallye des Alpes begins on July 3rd in Geneva, and ends on July 9th in Bürgenstock.
