Chasing Ice has earned its place as one of the film festival darlings of the year. With awards from Sundance, River Run, SXSW, Silverdocs, and others, the film is bound to make an impact on human history; if anything, by documenting some of the the last remaining ice environments in the world. That’s right; ice structures that will never be seen again by anyone.
The Wenger Blog got a sneak peek at the film, but there are a select number of theaters screening the film around the world. Our advice: if you’re near one of these theaters, figure out what it takes to watch a screening. You won’t regret it. Maybe this film will be enough to start a national conversation on what we can do about these ice environments, if it’s not already too late.
