Leavenworth Film Festival
The first annual Leavenworth Film Festival will be held in the spring 2013.  The film festival is located in Leavenworth, Washington, which is a historic, Bavarian town that sits amongst the Cascade Mountains.  This festival features short films with a focus on outdoor recreation. Five categories include: outdoor sports, nature, Leavenworth outdoors, student film makers and point of view. Keep posted to the website for official festival dates.

Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival
Daredevil stunts, dramatic cinematography and spectacular scenery are just a few ways to describe the films featured at the Banff Film Festival. The annual world tour reaches to most major cities across the United States. Over 8,000 individuals participate in this festival, which makes this one of the largest outdoor film festivals.  Get ready to get your breath taken away through this international journey of extreme adventure and one-of-a-kind shots.  With sponsors such as the North Face, National Geographic and Outdoor Research, viewers have the opportunity to win outdoor gear, book or movie prizes. Mountain Film in Telluride
The Mountain Film Festival is held Memorial Day weekend, May 24-27, 2013, in Telluride, Colorado. The festival also “hits the road” and tours in various areas of the United States throughout the year.  Started in 1979, the festival is one of the longest running outdoor film festivals, which makes 2013 the 35th annual film festival.  Explore nature, culture and international scenery in this inspiring celebration of the outdoors. The festivals also partnered with Outside Television to bring the new show, Outside Film Festival.  Additional sponsors include Eddie Bauer, Timberland and Jansport.

Colorado Environmental Film Festival
Located in Golden, Colorado this festival is held February 21-24, 2013.  The goal of this festival is to increase public awareness about environmental issues and sustainability. From fishing nets in the ocean to educating villages on environmental responsibility in the Himalayas, this is a festival to educate viewers and to advocate sustainability. Films include local filmmakers, short films, feature films, youth submissions and ultra shots.  Get ready to learn and explore nature as the screen takes you through a journey from the depths of the ocean to the sky’s limit.
